    what do you do for a bridal shower? my chief bridesmaid will be 16 so cant go out and i dont drink it makes me ill. she want to throw me a bridal shower but we dont know what to do

    why dont you just go for it and get your bridesmaids to organise it for you especially if there is anybody who is too young to go on the hen night they will be over the moon that they can join in the pre wedding celebrations

    i only have my daughters who are too young so not so worried really, i'm throwing a baby shower for my cbm in about 8 weeks cant wait for that :0) xx

    I think its a very American thing. Not sure I like the idea personally - seems a bit...off, expecting your friends to give you presents for being a bride,then again for your wedding.
    I think it's like an extra hen night.

    But if you want to try it, go for it :)
    They have baby showers in America too!.

    We just have April showers. And jan, feb, march, may, jun, jul, aug, sept, oct, nov, dec showers too

    i must admit i agree with u there possum!! u get engagement presents..then u would get presents in the shower..then again on the wedding day!! i certainly woudlnt be happy to fork out for 3 gifts for the one couple x my opinion though :0

    one of my friends got married and didnt have a hen do she had a bridal shower and we had to give her gag gifts from the £1 shop as gifts or something cheaper than £5 it was hilarious we got together and came up with a bridal survival kit and every1 bought one thing and wrapped it.

    it doesnt have to be expensive you would spend more on a night out xx
