No I am not planning to get one but I do think they look cute x x x
CommentAuthorvintage lass
I LOVE the idea...and think you defo should!!!!! Im getting wed in October so the wind, rain etc will probably turn one inside out lol so opted for a rather large umberella instead :( xxx
CommentAuthoreebeegeebee
I'm having one for the same reason as vintage lass, getting married in October and even walking the short distance from the car to the venue would ruin my dress if it were raining or very windy, so might as well. Getting the bridesmaids a pretty umbrella each also solves my bridesmaid gift issue :)
CommentAuthorkrumary2b
I like parasols, but iv seen wedding umbrellas in Debenhams, and knowing my luck it will rain,so thats what im getting just in case!x
CommentAuthorKizzy81
I've bought about a dozen edwardian parasols in ivory and pink - they're beautiful, and will work to keep the rain off or the sun off as applicable! Think they'll be going on the bay of e after the day, though...
CommentAuthorskitty666
i like the idea but i wouldnt have one as ill be putting it down all the time
CommentAuthorCeCe
I have seen some BEAUTIFUL Chinese silk parasols...trying to think where..they where in pale colours....boooootiful!
CommentAuthorvintage lass
Where did u get a dozen Kizzy???????? x
CommentAuthorKizzy81
I'm a buyer so I bought them from a supplier at cost price... £5.99 each when they should have been £12-£15.
CommentAuthorMrs Steph Lapworth
I have spoke to h2b about getting one and he said that if it keeps me in the shade if its warm then get one so i am deffo gonna get one yayy xx

Sounds like a good idea but I would probably end up using mine as a walking stick. My only concern with them for yourself Steph is with the photos, check to see what your photographer thinks about how to incorporate them in the pics,as they tend to shade you but also cast dark areas round your pics, even on the sunniest of days. x

I was looking at that but think they'd look a bit weird for me. I'm thinking of buying a black lace one now anyway but I'm an outfit short yet - me thinks a shopping trip is in the works :P
The days are flying by, can't wait :)

The parasols, mentioned in the link are waterproof. i emailed the seller and asked.
So they would cover both sun and rain.
I love the heart shaped ones. I cant decide whether to get a ivory one or a burgandy one for me. xx
CommentAuthorMrs Steph Lapworth
Thats alright then im not sure what colour to have either xx
