Afternoon ladies, so my bargain satin shoes arrived the other day and are a weee bit tight. I think I must have tried the 7 on in the shop, and bout a 6... But they are discontinued and I had enough trouble tracking my 6's down to try for a 7.

Other than wearing them with thick socks, and wearing them in the house, do you have any ideas for stretching them?

Whilst your watching tv at night just give them a gentle tug in all directions but be careful not to ruin them xx

Put slighty (not soaking) damp screwed up newspaper in them and put them in the freezer over night!! My nan told me to do this for a pair of my shoes and it worked xx

There are shoe trees and shoe stretchers that can help stretch them out.

Get your hubby to be to stretch the front of them. Mine walked around for 2 hours in them every weekend to stretch them out

You can get things to put in your shoes to stretch them for you over time.

I wore mine around the house with a pair of socks on and when I was done for the time I put some bubble wrap tightly in the front part to keep them stretched out. It worked as when I wore them on the day they were lovely and to be honest gave me no troubles at all.

Shoe stretchers really are the best way to go, gently stretching them without pulling the out of shape xx
