Has anyone else worn their wedding shoes for a while once a week to break them in?

I'm just sat down working in mine at home so not much walking around but they feel mega-comfy!! :-)

I wore mine round the house loads, and it paid off, not 1 blister, and my feet didn't get even a little sore til the evening (heels were too high) x

You shouldnt actually need to "break in" shoes.

I good fitting shoe should feel comfortable from the start!!

Lol! Just a tip for any shoe buying!

I havent got my shoes yet xxx

Thanks Minty, however I've got big flipper feet and going bear foot isn't an option!! lol lol

There's always a little 'give' in shoes and if you wear them around you tend get a comfier shoe.

These are pretty good though, I've gone for 2 1/4 inch heel anyway, couldn't stand in high high shoes all day.

    Very sensible height choice!
And I think when I get my shoes I will defintley wear them around the house, if not to make them a little more comfy but to actually get used to walking in them!

That's a good idea Lou, to have some on hand. On a night out I always bring a sneaky pair of party feet (the gel pads) and they are wonderful

12 cm lili!! Eeeeekkkkkk!! That's very brave!

I much prefer to wear nothing at all on my tootsies and would quite happily walk around all the time in nothing or flip flops, wearing a heel that height would see me tottering around, ending up on my butt with my skirt over my head and blisters the size of 50ps!

    Are you used to heels?

Got told to add antisceptic too as they help to prevent you feeling too much pain, just a cream to rub on

I wore mine in the evening for a couple weeks before, mostly becuase I don't wear heels regularly for any lenght of time and I wanted to make sure I could walk and dance and wear them all day and night without killing my feet. My heels were 5 inches so I definitely needed the practise!
