I'm on look out for bargains but can't think what I need :( basically church is booked n not sure if I need any things for it. Dress and jewellery I'm sorting closer to the time as I know I want side tiara but worried if I spend £50+ on one and it doesn't look right it's a waste of money. Shoes I've got and card box is nearly finished. So really not sure what to do. I gues favors ( haven't a clue what to have) centerpieces ( being organised at moment) outfits can't sort til closer to date although I know what we're having. We're having a sweet table so I know I still need some jars but not a bargain ordering online. Sweets got to be careful as best before dates. Should I get a wedding planner? I have a big folder but just doesn't feel write and I feel like I'm missing lots of things. I know it's ages away but I know it will creep up fast so it needs to be planned and I feel I need to know all the things that need sorted big n small so I can relax lol

Are you having flowers in the church? And have you decided on bouquets yet?

I've put everything into excel. Right now I'm comparing venue prices/packages. For me this is the easiest way to keep track of everything. Knowing me I'd loose a binder.

I've decided on the colour for the flowers for me and bridesmaids, church has florists who do flowers but only two bunches at the front I think so will look into pew ends as they said very unlucky I'll be allowed petals down the isle :( x

what about invitations... h2b's mum is making ours...we went over to see her other week, and decided on what we wanted...
ivory card as the base, red card decorations, purple card on the inside as background colour, and pale coloured paper to actually print the writing on to and stick on the purple..and all the envelopes
apparently its good crafting card...got a big box off everything needed..£68..
if they look like the trial invitation that was done it will be amazin!...keepin my fingers crosser :P

Sounds like you have the important stuff under control :) I would suggest searching online for some wedding checklists and then taking the bits you like from each to make your own checklist, then you can set a date for each item, e.g. important stuff early on and smaller bits and bob spread out over the time you have left xx

Ooo good thinking Elizabeth :) I'll defo do that. I did try doing it few months ago but so many different lists started confusing me. I think we have the big bits sorted just waiting to be able to put deposits down and I think it will feel more real. :) x
