After much searching (and many dresses not to my taste!) I have finally found the most gorgeous bridesmaid dresses! Found them at the store of Deb's! I've put pictures in my album to show you. I've gone a little off my original colour scheme but they're just so pretty!
The dresses are a rose gold sequin fabric and I'm having my male best fiend from uni involved in my side of the wedding party - although we've joked about it, I really don't think a dress is going to work! lol! But would love to have a matching waistcoat made to go with his suit to show that he is included in my bridesmaids. The groom's party will be in grey suits/waistcoats and braces so would love for him to have a little (quite sparkly) distinction.
Anyone have any idea where I could find fabric to match the dresses? I've done tons of googling to no avail so far! Not sure i can contact the designer as they're designed by Jenny Packham (sorry mods if I cant say that) Anywhere online? Or preferably a fabric warehouse in the North West/Manchester area that would stock it. I was so excited about the dresses but now feel a little deflated over trying to find fabric.
Sorry it turned into a bit of a long post! Just need a bit of guidance from you lovely gals! D xx

Gorgeous dresses. We totally changed our colour scheme because of the bm's dresses.
Instead of trying to source the fabric (you probably won't be able to, the designer may own copyright) could you not buy him a dress and have him a waistcoat and/or cravat made from it, so that it matches exactly? X

I though of that too Laura, but the dresses are far too expensive (for my budget £150) for me to justify buying one to cut up :(
It doesn't have to be exactly the same - just something similar, same colour material/sequins. xx

I can see them in your photos, but to me they look an almost pinky gold, if that makes sense? If you have the dresses in your hand, you could take them to a haberdashery type shop, or look for a shop which makes sari and other beautifully coloured dresses to see if you can find the fabric as close to it as possible, and then ask a seamstress to make your mate's waistcoat?
The other option if you cant find what you want online, is to located a gold organza or taffetta fabric, and overlay over a pink man's waistcoat with a seamstress combining the two. (Obviously Im saying pinky because that is just how the dress looks to me, rather than yellow gold, its more Rose gold)

maybe you could buy another dress and have a waist coat made out of it for him?
