Well, whilst Dorrian was at college today I finally managed to speak to someone at venus boudoir, without having to put the phone down as he'd just walked through the door! If I wasn't fired up to do it before, I'm even more so now!! Such a lovely woman I spoke with, really friendly, put me at ease straight away and my confidence back on track (especially as it had started to waiver after having spoken with some snooty bridal sales assistant - "SUCH large size dresses" she snorted at me down the phone!) Anyway, the whole day is done your way, hair, makeup and styling just how you want it. Lingerie, boas, and props for all shapes and sizes and certainly no discrimination for us plumptious types! (that sales assistant has really got my back up, sorry girls!) A variety of poses and shots taken as you like, wearing as much or as little as you like, a little drink to calm the old nerves and a chance to view your shots about a week later in the comfort of your own home. She said they were a family run business, so were quite small and intimate. I'm DEFINITELY going for it!!! Don't know whether Dorrian had been reading this thread, but he said to me last night that he'd love a pic of me in heels, lacy holdups and my veil and tiara ...... looks like you're going to get your wish boy!! :0) xxx

Yep! I'm on for doing it Melly :0) She said they'd photographed ladies from a size 8 to a size 32 and everyone has left feeling so fantastic afterwards ... a definite for me! xx

Hmmm I was thinking this earlier ... some nice lingerie, bra, panties and stockings ... you could talke your veil and tiara too and have some wedding boudoir shots ... things like teddies or camisoles maybe ... a silky wrap that you could have draped over you ... xx

I've been talking to a few ladies already about this (hello iluvcakes ;-)) and we are arranging a day where 3 ladies come to me and we have a little pamper (hair/make up) and then cakes and wine, whilst I take their photos.
I need to build a portfolio up, as its a area of photography I'm really interested in developing, just need willing models lol
There are a number of things we can do to present teh photos, a pretty little album, or photos to music, on a dvd. We could even do a small bound photo album (where images are printed into the book).

Awww I'm the same. Happiest when I'm with my Fiance... still feels weird saying that!! lol and when I'm with my little bro... he's just turned 3 and is the cutest lil thing!! He's gonna be my page boy, and I asked him if he's gonna dress up in a suit and he said no, I asked why and he said it was cos he didnt have one. I told him I'd buy him one, and he siad no "I'm gonna dress up as spiderman". Guess that would make it memorable!! haha
