Hi i was talking with my mum and dad earlier about table plans etc i have decided as me and my h2b and my dad are all whiskey drinkers that we are going to call our tables after whiskey now my dad came up with the idea that we should have a bottle of whiskey on each table of the table name e.g a bottle of Glenmorangie on the Glenmornagie table then my mum thought why dont we use the bottle as the name place card holder but i have been looking and dont know how i would attach the name card to the bottle any ideas folks as i realy like the idea? xxxxx
EDIT- TITLE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO MAKE SUBJECT CLEARER - MODS

How about getting a cork to go in the top of the bottle and cutting a slit int he top of the cork to pop the card in?
Vegas baby!

Ribbon around the bottle would be my first thought, you could tuck the name card into the ribbon, or have the ribbon run through the place card (if the ribbon was thin enough), or maybe a band around the bottle with the name on. I'm assuming you wouldn't want to replace the label since it links in with the table names. If it was wine I would say cut along the cork and have it popping out.

There are numerous of things you can do. I would get a cork and attach it to the top with a slit in the top.

corks are what initially spring to mind. you could get miniature bottles as favours too!
