Getting a bit nervous cause me and partner not dancers at all. Dont know what to do and dont want to look silly. I love the song myley cyrus - when i look at you. What do you guys think - cheesy or ok for a first dance or swaying lol :-|

Rachael me and H2B are exactly the same, I have never slow danced or in fact danced in front of people in my whole life, so I'll be feeling the same as you as the time comes closer.
A few dance lessons might be nice but if you can't afford them then just occasionally throw in a few twirls between swaying as people love them and they're not difficult lol xxx

We're the same, probably a good sway and shuffle, though I'm gonna encourage bridesmaids to get everyone else up dancing soon after cos if everyone's watching for a whole song ill be really conscious of it and I won't enjoy my dance

Ahaha we are the same don't worry about it hun - people keep telling us to get lessons but whats the point? It's one dance and i'll be wearing a big dress so swaying is the only way! haha

Neither of us can dance nor have we danced together. Originally we weren't going to have one but was told we had to and the thought of swaying like pair of idiots, to me is awful. So we have decided to go with the conga, so everyone can get involved and everyone knows it plus its a bit of fun like the rest of the day is going to be. xx

Don't worry about it. Most people just want to see you both enjoying yourself (and of course the traditional kiss on the dance floor). I've started going to a dance class (for exercise and socialising, not because of the wedding), but I know H2B doesn't want to do anything more than swaying, as that's all he ever does on the dancefloor.

We've decided not to do a first dance, h2b really doesn't like dancing so I'd rather not make him uncomfortable. I'm actually quite happy not dancing while everyone stares at us. Always thought that was a little strange and doesn't feel very intimate.

I have taught people wedding dances and everyone expected us to have a fab first dance but we shuffled! :-) just do what you feel comfortable with
