We are booking our venue tomorrow and have had a look around before and a chat with wedding coordinator there but I know you ladies are great at this so thought I'd check in with you all and ask if there was anything I should ask incase I've forgotten anything, we are having the whole day there, ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception

Me, I'm going to ask all the simple things like how would the floor be laid out for the wedding breakfast, what time would be best to eat, see if they will give you a timetable of the day roughly. I should think you will have remembered a lot of it. But I would take a little notepad just to make a few notes. x

Make sure you're absolutely clear on cost. If you have any guests with special dietary requirements check if they can be catered for. If you're having children ask about catering arrangements for them. Might be worth checking as well if there are any plans to redecorate the venue between now and the wedding, and if so what will change. We took H2B's parents to see our reception room and discovered that it had been redecorated, and we'd known nothing about it. Fortunately we're really happy with the new look; it's actually nicer than it was.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

We looked around loads of venues that didn't allow confetti (even flower petals) or fireworks and naked flames were a no. Some places also say no drinks on the dancefloor so as well as getting provisional timings and things I would also ask about some of the smaller details you might want for your day.
Guest capacity Guest minimum for the wedding breakfast Rooms available to get ready in beforehand Are linens and cutlery included in the price Any packages on offer
