    Hi Jodie,

Were getting married in a church next year and it will cost us about £750-800 and includes the same as what you've quoted (flowers, organ, bells), so its not expensive for a church wedding. Ours is a 2014 price as well as the new price doesn't come in until January next year so will be a bit more. Ours also includes heating but we're hoping we won't need that in May!

It depends on the church mine is 465 ish (could be 500 as price increases yearly)

That only includes organist we didnt want flowers as ive seen them they r nothing special and for 30quid i felt it was a total waste of money lol...

The church in nxt little village is 600+ and its a 2 min (if that) drive from my church lol

Didn't realise the church cost so much. We're getting married in a Catholic Church which luckily only asks for a donation.

Hmmm sounds about right for a non Catholic Church. We had a Catholic Church wedding so was cheaper but then we had to also give notice etc at the registry office which was a little inconvenient and we had to pay for it which I believe if it was a CofE wedding we wouldn't have to as it's all done by the church.

Yea thats the thing with CofE all registry fees etc are in with price i guess best way to look at it is if u were gettng married at an approved venue it would be about the same if not more as you have venue.. in this case church.. registrar - vicar/rev and giving notice fees which is why your bans are read out x it depends in area and church :-) sounds alot but when you look at it in that way it makes more sence :-) and with this u dont have to avoid anything religious as thats the point in it lol. U can have hyms and bible readings (or any reading u want)

I looked in to getting married in a hotel or a venue and just for the register fees would be 500 pound so that's why i decided on a church
as it would be all in and the vicar would then do everything
