I'm with the reduction gang. Having lost 1.5 stone for the wedding it's pretty diappointing the although my waist and hip measurements have gone from an 18 to a 14, I still had to order an 18 dress as my chest stayed the same :( H2B wouldn't possibly let it happen though!!

I have always said that when im alot older and start sagging south then i would have an uplift, no change in size but just to stay where they are.... but saying that and doing it are 2 different things and honestly i dont think i would ever go through with it.....

I wouldnt have one but I understand why women do, one thing that horrified me though is someone I work with went ahead with an enlargement despite being aware that she would lose all sensation in her nipples (as they had to be moved) and not be able to breastfeed.... I think it depends what you have done but those things would definately put me off!

As some of the other ladies said, I've thought about reduction... I hate how big my boobs are, can never get bras that fit or wear pretty tops, if I have any cleavage on show I look like a right slag.... I HATE IT!! and have sore back etc like the others have said.
2 reasons I haven't done anything about it though -
    1) I'm a scaredy cat, apparently it's really painful!!
    2) Wouldn't wanna risk being able to breast feed, so may be somethign I look at again after babies x

sorry but how naive are u by sayin u want the end results but not the pain??? have you not seen all the mags that have done stories about boob jobs going wrong, getting infected and bleeding out puss and one being too big than the other one..is this the sort of underlying after problems you want to try deal with BEFORE the wedding????

im a bigger lady..size 20 but tops are 22 due to my 38H boobs ..i went to see someone about a reduction cause i have major problems with my back but i got to lose the weight first before they would even consider me xx

I used to think i really wanted one, but after some stories i read (like Becca pointed out) it has put me off but i still really really hate my breast and feel really down every time i look at them. I dont think people should be judged for wanting a boob job though. I think everyone is individual and if thats the only thing that will make them happy, they shouldnt be critisied for that. Thats just my opionion though :-)

your right they shouldnt be judged for disliking their bodies sbride thing is once your start having surgery to correct things u dont like you end up on a spiral, a boob job then a tummy tuck a bit of lypo a nose job lip fillers if your unhappy in yourself no amount of surgery will change that

all i said was that people must by naive to want the end results but not the pain which isn't goin to happen..im not judging anyone was just purely pointing out that there are far too many horror stories that people seem to bypass and rush into it

as long as its definately what you want , you have the money to do it and u've done ur research then up to u

I think if it can be sorted out with any other means then you should avoid surgery! There are so many things you can do nowadays to lift, enhance, even out and minimise boobs that surgery to me just seems silly. Lots of people have mentioned chicken fillets and I think if it is just about making sure you feel confident in your dress on your special day then I think either a really good pair of fillers or even a good bra would help without having to resort to major surgery just before your big day!

My auntie had a boob job a couple of years ago and I'm sorry to say that she probably should have just invested in a good bra, as you can barely tell the difference and she's paid a few thousand pounds for that when I've seen a wonderbra have a better effect!

And there are the complications to consider and the long-term effects and yes, there is the addiction to consider. It sounds strange but humans have a strange addiction to pain. Anyone who has multiple piercings usually wants more. Anyone with tattoos usually wants more. And surgery is the same... once you've started where can you draw line if your mind is constantly playing on what else you could change?

Do what you can to feel good about yourself - just don't go changing who you are! Your h2b is marrying you for you, boobs and all, and feeling comfortable with yourself for what you have naturally is a thousand times more rewarding than trying to mold yourself to fit into what you think you should be!

i'd like a boob job and have no issue's with my self-esteem. i dont want them bigger just not saggy. i dont feel there's nothing wrong in wanting the full again like they were before i had my child. yes it would hurt and would use a reputable hospital where a friend had hers done. its about personal choice and ppl shouldnt be pulled to bits for wanting one. there are many reasons why ppl get them done and not all are for self-esteem issues. just my take on it :-) x

I dont think anyones been pulled to bits

It is personal choice, but i have to disagree insofar as i beleive it is to do with esteem issues.

You wanna change the way you look, because you are not happy with the way you look which equals an esteem issue.

If you didnt have a problem with yourself then why on earth would you wanna go under the knife and change anything whether it be boob, bums, noses, eyes etc?

I dunno, maybe im missing something?

i'm happy with the person i am inside. why do women wear make up, do their hair etc. is this considered a self esteem issue too? i love the person i am and am a confident lady and dont need my boobs doing to bolster the person i am. it would not make me feel anymore confident having the boobs i once had

Yeah but you can remove make up and brush your hair a hundred different ways.

Permanently changing your body through surgery is an entirely different thing.

    BUT

If its what you want then do it! After all we cant all agree or see the reasoning why someone does something.

Im covered in tattoos, but some folk cant for the life of them see why the hell i would have pictures permanently inked on my body.

Tattoos are just like boob jobs really!!! Once it's done can't really be un done!!

I mean if you have a boob job you can have it taken out again the same as a tattoo can be removed but it's just a load of hassel so people dont!!

I couldn' care if people had piercings, tatoos or boob jobs everyone has their own reasons!! xx

Well you can have tattoo's removed apparently but its painful in comparison to getting the tattoo and not having a tattoo myself couldn't even make the comparison or comment if it actually works.

And you can have implants taken out (katie price and Victoria beckham are examples of these) but they do stretch your chest area to accommodate them and without them would probably look like saggy flaps of skin with scar marks. Again never had a boob job so couldnt correctly inform.

I used to say I wanted a boob job when I got older (yes I was naive and didn't understand the whole procedure) - when I was younger as I was very small breasted. I put on a huge amount of weight (considering to what I used to be) and got the boobs I wanted. Now my complex is with my belly and not my boobs. You can't win.

I want to lose weight but the motivation isn't there as I fear I'll lose the boobs first (that's what usually happens with me anyhow) and I don't want that. So I need to tally up what's most important to me and deal with it.

I would never get a boob job near my wedding as you don't know what will happen every person is different and their body could look fabulous, out of proportion, they could have a reaction, etc. Last thing you want is to be unhappier with your boobs because it's not how you wanted them to look or in hospital correcting problems when you should be happy and feeling great on your wedding day :)
