I have a Maggie Sottero dress - Jalissa. I had my 2nd fitting on Saturday and noticed the boning on the bust area seemed to be protruding out a lot so mentioned it to the lady in the shop - she's also doing the alterations. She said it was down to the lining being separated from the dress with her being part way through the alterations and that it won't when she's finished.
So I thought nothing of it until I looked at this pic of me in it when it first came into store ie before any alterations had been started and I can really see them.
Has anyone else had this issue? Was it sorted once the alterations were finished?? I did ring her and she still reckons that's all it is and that if I'm not happy at my final fitting on 30th August that 2 weeks is still enough time for her to sort it

thats a gorgeous dress, you look stunning :)
maybe see when she is finished the alterations, if its before the date you have booked for your final fitting, see if you can go in before originally planned so as to put your mind at ease, I only noticed it because you pointed it out but you have to be 100% happy with it
good luck xx

I also only noticed when you pointed out - when I saw the photo the other day I didn't notice at all! But of course you want everything to be perfect and if you know it's there you won't be able to forget about it :( x
Wow your dress is so gorgeous!! Dont panic about the boning. When a dress is fitted properly it will almost feel as if it is too tight! The boning will be flat to your skin when the lady has finished with it.
Even if it was a worse case scenario and the dress was faulty or something the boning can always come out of the dress!

Another one on not seeing until you mentioned it . All I would say is she seems to know how to fix it and especially if you have pointed it out as a concern she should be making doubly sure you are happy and that it's all fixed right :)

Oh I didnt notice either! You do have to be happy and comfortable with it though, but the lady sounds confident as if it's easy enough to do. Wait til she's finished with the alterations she's already doing, it could be better but if not I'm sure she sort it so it's perfect.
