We're having royal blue bridesmaids etc - but they are all the same shade, then my H2Bs tie will match them too. Type "blue wedding theme" into google - it brings up all sorts of ideas!

You could wear navy and then put the BM and FG in a pale blue. Or you could have a dress that is white/ivory with a bit of blue detailing and then have the BM and FG in the same blue as the datailing.
I can't believe we've actually done it
I am now Mrs Limara Tester

Blue is a lovely colour - it was a toss up between blue and purple for me but I may end up mixing as they complement each other quite well. I think having the bridesmaid's in one shade and then the flowergirls in another shade will look gorgeous

Nice Nicci!
In general blue is NOT what I would EVER have thought I would go for for my wedding colour..but, it seems to be working..our venue is old and ornate and the decor would blend well...Royal Blue is a very regal colour and suits older surroundings (IMO).
I am having a crisis though..it is DO I wear RB or do my BM's etc...

I'm trying to put together a royal blue theme. I was going to have a dress with colour in - then I tried on 'the one' and finished up getting an ivory dress instead. I'm finding it hard to get a royal blue dress for my bm (just having one). She's in a size 20 so trying to get a style that would suit her. We did find one in Debenhams that looked perfect (pic on my profile) - but the problem is it's midnight blue. I'd love to have artificial blue and white roses for both of us but don't know if they would go with the bm dress. Any ideas...??

i have seen some really goreous ice blue wedding dresses, i think as long as the blues you use arent to strong then you can mix and match xxx

Reagarding blue flowers try Delphiniums-ive got a pic on my profile of what i want my bouquet to be like-it consists of white/cream roses with delphiniums around them, they are real and the blue is stunning! x
