its taking this long for conservative seats to come through because they have sooo many votes that they are taking sooo long to count them. well thats what i am telling myself for now.
CommentAuthorSuz80
ahhh so it was luck lol x
CommentAuthorMrs (Dove) Pidgeon
They knew these seats would be labour. And they have less people.

CommentAuthorSuz80
angeleyes..agree with you!!!! Dove the swings are interesting a lot of people have changed their views
CommentAuthorSuz80
Well there isn't much that can be done really unfortunately.. unless they start doing it over 2 days x
CommentAuthorDaffy
I think they have had all day to vote, surely they haven't been busy ALL day
Daffy
CommentAuthorangeleyes
i think that some people are a bit silly for leaving it so late to vote when its been open all day, but if they are there it is their right to vote and there shouldnt be a time limit on it. not fair.
CommentAuthorMrs (Dove) Pidgeon
But there has to be a cut off point somewhere. My brother went at 3pm and there were no queues.

Daff - If I'd have had to queue for 3 hours, I might not have been able to vote - I was in Wales and might not have left til 5 - a 3 hour journey and I get back at 8.
So some people ARE busy all day.
CommentAuthorSuz80
Well tbh my h2b asked to have time off so he could vote otherwise he wouldnt be able to. at the moment hes still at work has been all day i'm sure hes not the only one, especially in catering.
CommentAuthorDrunchPunk
And before someone goes on about postal votes - yes, they are a possibility, but I specifically planned my week to come back today in order to vote.
CommentAuthorDaffy
Ah fair enough dp, i see you point.

CommentAuthorMrs (Dove) Pidgeon
Some people are at work, yes. Maybe they should extend it to Midnight. Open the polling station for 24 hours.
