The rules to advertise with UKB are clearly marked on the site and that's why I haven't subscribed yet I just can't afford to at the moment :(

Sometimes suppliers have to let a bride come to you because if you poach you will find yourself getting no where other than listed on posts like this to be ear marked for avoidance.

Yes, these are just threads in the forum KarenB9. The adverts you get on your wall are 'paid for' adverts by reputable companies the UKBride approves. The only way to get rid of these is to delete them and I think there's an option to 'not receive adverts from this company' (or something like that) again. It was ages ago that I trawled through mine so can't quite remember the wording, sorry. x
