My h2b decided he would like black chair covers with purple sashes and a purple table cloth. With this, I feel I would have to have purple bridesmaids dresses ( but was stuck which colour to choose in the first place ). My theme is cadburys purple and peacock feathers. What colour flowers do you all think myself and my bridesmaids should have given we are having the black chair covers. It has confused me a little because we were going to have white covers so - could have white and purple flowers.
Any thoughts or opinions?xxx

Have you got black anywhere else??? Personally i think the purple table cloth's, sashs, dresses and flowers might be TOO much purple!! Why dont you have white/ivory table cloth's, black chair covers and purple sash's and table runners to break it up a bit??? As you know my whole theme is black, ivory and red roses so im having black covers ivory sashs, ivory cloths and black runners with red (mine) and ivory flowers (bm's) with black accesories! you could still have white and purple flowers tho hun.

That's what I'm also thinking Hails. Thought I had everything planned out but everythings changed now lol. Nope, didn't have black anywhere hun. Had gold, blue, teal and purple. Any other ideas I can use to sway my h2b?xxx

Well as you know im a hugeeeee fan of black chair covers hense why I'm having them hehehe. I think if you do have them you might have to add black in somewhere else as it might look a bit odd. Maybe like me add black crystals and beads to the flowers, back your stationary in black card ermmm maybe have black pearls for your jewellery, you could add black sash's to your bridesmaids dresses or like me have black bridemaid dresses then you all have purple flowers?? If you dont want to suggest it all to h2b and tell him about the extra costs it will involve might persuade him otherwise lol

Awwww thanks hun. On a scout for flowers ideas now. Need to start keeping my plans instead of changing my mind. I don't really need teal and blue in my theme as well do I? The peacock feathers are only for finishing touches aren't they. So cadburys purple, black and white, and bits of gold? What do you think?xxx

Yeah, having purple now hun! Same colour as above, so probs will go with them flowers too! I love the contrast! I am in discussion with the lady who you linked me to before, she gave me her suppliers website for me to choose my favourite flowers :) found the most perfect bm dress as well, again, a site you linked me to! I owe you a mention in the speaches at my wedding I think! Haha xxxx
