    Hey girls,

I am having a black and white theme (with bits of red), I have white birdcages with black butterflies and B&W wooden roses for the tables (with black table runners) and I am having a cupcake tower with black and white cupcakes. I was thinking that next to the cake I could have a couple of bowls of red sweeties and 2 big jars of the round swirly B&W lollipops. Cant find anywhere that sells them online thats all that cheap. Has anyone bought these before?

Anyone got any ideas that I can add to this? I have damask B&W balloons for the head table and the bms dresses are rockabilly style (b&w obv lol) and Im putting a red sash round the middle with red shoes and a red&white bouquet of wooden roses.

I was hoping that it would look quite classy but fun. My dress is ivory with a black sash and im having a red, white and black bouquet.

Would appreciate any ideas that would add to this. I was all excited about the theme at first but after reading all the other exciting themes I'm worried it will be dull :-/

you could do cake pops instead of lollypops and make your own they are pretty easy to do!!

I found a receipe if you want it as i was going to make them but my sweet buffet lady is doing me a mixture of sweets and desserts so is going to include cake pops on there :-)

Will find the receipe tonight for you tho if you want it???

I saw those on a website, they look amazing! Didnt think they'd be all that easy to do though... I was going to make my own cupcake tower but decided against it because I didnt want to be rushing about the day before the wedding. I've got to decorate the whole venue the day before, so wont have much spare time. How long would they last for if you cooked them like 2 nights before the wedding day?

Regardless, would like the recipe as they would go lovely in my christmas hampers :-)

    Thank you very much

This is my colour scheme as well... black, white and a bit of red! I am also struggling with a black and white sweet bowl idea - only thing I can think of are mint humbugs - which I don't think will get eaten. If I come across anything I will share :) x

    Here comes the bride......

I thought of red lip chewy sweets in wee bowls, maybe strawberry laces. Also really want the B&W swirly lollys! Think they look amazing, especially with a ribbon round the bottom. Theres also licorace, black jacks and white bon bons......
