Due to the fact we are on a strict budget we said that the bestman and the person giving me away could just wear a suit and we would only have h2b in his kilt. Well mil2b decided to inform me that it would look silly if the best man didnt have the kilt on as well. So they are going to hire a kilt for him. Eh no not what we wnat now i have to figure a way to approach h2bs best mate who is giving me away and ask him how he would feel about hiring his kilt for the day as if the best man has one then it will look silly in the pics if all 4 ou us are standing together and h2bs mate is wearing a suit and the other 2 are in kilts. So peeved off its not the first she has done something like this. xx

Just told h2b and hes not happy. Hes going to talk about it when he gets home from work. Think since mil2b and her bf are hiring a kilt for him to be best man then we might offer to go halfs on his best mates who is giving me away. This will pee the off big time lol. xx

If it was me I would get h2b to talk to her and explain that your plans were to have just h2b in a kilt and if she wants to pay for the best man to have a kilt then all 4 will need kilts and who is going to pay for the other 2? If you can't afford or don't want to pay the added expense put your foot down. Many people have the Groom dressed differently for a reason.......because hes the groom! The bride and groom should stand out. And the groom should have the same right as the bride at wearing something special and diferent. You wouldnt ask the mothers to wear wedding dresses would you. xxx
