the wedding co-ordinater emailed me last week to suggest that i book a meeting with the reception room manager to arange wher we can store the cake the day before (as there is another wedding). so i booked an appointment with her to see the man for today at 10.30 this morning... fine
well me and my mil2b drove out there today (half an hour away i might add) only to get there ask for him at reception to be told its his day off and sorry but he's not here!! what an absoloutely waste of time and money on petrol. they know we dont live nearby and just didnt seem to care. the wedding co-ordinater came out and was very apologetic for him not being in but did she not communicate with him to make sure the appointment SHE made was convienient for him too?!?!! then asked us to come back wednesday to see him to wich i refused as its a waste of my time and money and he could call me. im a bit dissapointed to be honest was really looking forward to it and now jst been moping about the house a bit lost lol.

seems to be like they arent very organised! surely it wouldnt have taken much for her to check if he was working!
ring up tomorrow and try to speak to him and explain how unhappy you are at the service you have recieved! you never know may throw something in for free for your inconvience! xx

i wouldnt mind so much if it was on the door step but its not. theyre supposed to be ringing me on wednesday to sort it all oiut, ive told them in not coming back they can do it over the phone as i cant spend more money on fuel getting there :(

hahah zara definately a bridezilla moment hahah. apparently he said to the co-ordinater he would come in to meet me on his day off and just didnt bother coming in :( arr well, it meant i had time to go get my cake mould! every cloud has a silver lining lol xx

im kind of at the point where i dont think i should have to ring them to get the answers. if u know what i mean. they should be ringing me, it was their mistake that put me out i dont think i should have to chase them. if i dont get a call by 4.30 i will email the co-ordinator x

That is bad of them to do that. I'm sure its something they could have sorted over the phone in the first place so can't understand why you would have to go all that way just over cake storage. Even more so when you still have 5 months left and I should imagine that nearer to the time you have to go and do the final appointment with them.
