I have loads of people I know but have a handful of people that I would call friends

My MOH is sorting my hen night and a list of who I want to invite
there was 8 people because I don't just want to ask people just for the sake of it
I sent them all a email on faccy to say that MOH will be getting in contact but can I have rough numbers
and only three people got back to me!!!!!
grrrr I know theses people have read the message and all it takes is a simple yes or no I wouldn't be offended I just thoight I would let people know in advance so they can start to save if they do want to come
at this rate it may just be me and my bridesmaid
why are some people so flaky!! :-(

yea well thats my thoughts aswell I'd pick quality over quanitity any day but I really thought the people I have invite would have got back to me its a bit disheartening

well babe im not having a hen do at all .....i was going to have a small one but then the only friend that i "actually" would want there is coming to america with me everyone else would just be people that feel they ought to be there ....and after being ignored for 3 months while i was recovering from an op by the girls on my dept at work i dont see why i should have a night out just to please them

tbh I'd have even less so Ive decided I dont want one. My MOH lives 2 and a bit hours away (adams sister) and Ive got no-one I can really say is a true mate. So i'm going to put my 'hen' money to the stag and give him a night to remember :) xx

I'm the same. Only about 3 or 4 people I want to invite. You can still have a great time with a small crowd and it will probabaly be easier to do some things as some places don't like big rowdy crowds coming in. Plus you'll enjoy it more because you'll have your closest friends there and not have to make such an effort with people that you are not that close with.

Go out with the girls that have got back to you and make it a brilliant night!

i was the same, invited 22 people, and only 11 have paid up. Only 1 week left to pay so it looks like its just gonna be the 11 of us. If I was having a night out local it would have been ok, but i wanted a weekend away.

I don’t repeat gossip so listen very carefully!!

My 'Hen Do' is tiny!!! I'm going to London for the weekend with my Mum, Sister (Bridesmaid), Auntie and 2 female cousins lol so don't panic hun. I might go out for a meal with a couple of friends seperately but it's not really that bigger deal to me. My friends are seriously flaky I'll be lucky if they even come to the wedding! xxx

I've got my MOH, 2 of my sisters and a friend of mine...n that is it! i was really disappointed with the turn out but we'll have a great time just the 4 of us! and im sure you will too :-) xx

I think a lot of people r the same. My MOH wnted to arrange for us to go away for my hen night for a wknd however as most o the girls now have families it was impossible to get definate numbers. MOH is now goin to arrange something closer to home so more people can make it but I know wat some o the girls r lyk n will use the old I can't get a babysitter excuse xx

I have those mates who say they will come and cancel at the last minute all the time leaving my parties with just me and two others sometimes!!

I never organise things coz its always a let down.
