Hi girls.. I was wondering if you could help. I'm in a dilemma
I want a red London bus to transport my guests from my ceremony to the the reception venue. Its about a 25 minute drive and alot of my guests are having to travel from Reading and Wales to Bristol so I don't want them having to do even more driving. I was thinking, if they are booking a hotel room they can check in at the hotel, drop of there cars and get a taxi to the ceremony and then the bus will do the rest.. only problem is the bus holds upto 70 guests and once myself and h2b, bridesmaids and my mum is taking off the list (as I have cards for us) there will be about 78 guests. So, I'm thinking, if I ask MIL2b and her partner to drive (incase we need a car for emergencies) and the Ushers to drive I should be able to get it under 70.. But is this a bit cheeky?????? And I suppose it depends on whether the guests will go and check in to the hotel first and leave there car, some might actually just drive straight to the venue!
Grrrrr I don't know what to do but I really want a bus lol

Im having a bus, i have put a little "ticket" inside the invitations saying "you have been chosen to ride on our wedding bus with us which will take you from the ceremony to the reception venue so please leave your car at home"
Maybe go through your guest list and choose selected guests that would maybe enjoy being on the bus with you.
You could ask them to RSVP in their invites as to whether they will be coming on the bus with you so you know the exact numbers and then you know whether to arrange alternative transport if there are too many. x

Thats a lovely idea.. although I think some of my guests will be annoyed if I selected who goes on it. God its so confusing! I just want to make it easier for people. I won't be on the bus myself! x

To be honest hun, i was worried about that but i chose people to come on the bus with us that were either a) close friends and family members and b) people that dont drive!
Just have a look through your guest list and think of it like that? xxx
