    Hi girls - just a quickie (I am sure I've seen a thread discussing this before but just wanted to remind you) - a friend from work went to a wedding on the weekend and the bride's dress was so big that she and her new husband couldnt walk down the aisle together! She was devastated and embarrassed.

    Just wanted to share this - something to think about if you are thinking of a meringue type dress! x

    omg yh she was in a lil cinderella ball carraige thing the had to pure push her in it then took god know how long to get her out fully grown men were pushing and pulling but she was near enough wedged it lol its a shame yu missed it was hilarious x x x

    I saw this on youtube afterwards, I mean no dis-respect to anyone thinking of a big dress, but this one was just ridiculous - how can you enjoy your big day when you can't even walk through doorways without being pushed through!?!?!

    Has anyone got a hollywood dreams dress?
    I tried one on even though I had no intention on getting one as I marrying abroad (I need a seperate plane just for the size of the dress!) I just wanted to see how it would feel to put a huge dress on!
    It was beautiful and when I walked out of the changing room my mum & auntie cried!
    I want one now!!!

    my dress is jasmine couture t345 and its bigger than it looks in the picture which doesnt do it justice i hasten to add!! i dont care, all the other 14 i tried on weren't a patch on it lol!!! and yes its quite expensive - alot lot more than i wanted to spend. not ordered it yet, gonna order later in year. cant wait one iota!

    I'm not a girly girl either and initially just wanted a simple quite plain dress however the more I tried on the bigger they got! Ha ha. I got a ronald joyce dont know the name or number got it in a sample sale and it's pretty big (alot bigger than I thought I would like) I just loved it and didnt want to take it off. I'll have to check it will fit down the aisle tho. I hadnt even thought of that.

    Theres a massive difference from a princess dress one that is too big. I had a big dress but it wasnt that big on the scale of things. The only thing you have to consider is going to the loo!! but in all fairness its a lot easier then you think x x

    i did watch my big fat gysp wedding. it amazing how them girls carry them 28 stone dresses. lol and have to kick it down the aisle.
    my dress is big however it is very light and my h2b will be able to stand next to me.
