Please can someone reassure me ... Paying for our wedding is like chucking money into a big black hole as we've nothing to show for it at the moment. Plus I've reached a lull in the planning so all that's going on is chipping away at the cost. Only £2K to go! When does the excitement kick in again? xx

I can imagine how stressed you must feel right now but with only 2k left to pay you have done really well so congratulate yourself :)
I think it's natural to hit a lull before the wedding but remember it may b expensive and exhausting, but you are marrying the man of your dreams and that is what it's all about take a night out for just the two of you to spend some time together. Hopefully that will reignite the spark of excitement.

Once you hit the magic less than 100 days! Thats when it happened for me! Now im into weeks rather than months seems less when i say 10 weeks than 2 months lol. Its psyhcological I know but works hehe!

Im in the same boat - its just the same for us, we still have 2k to pay on the venue - but mostly everythin is included! we've worked out we will reach our limit needed in november - but its no fun - i want to start buying and looking at things now to get! but H2B says if i wait he will get it all after nov - have my save the date magnets tho!! & half of my invitation (plantable seeded paper) now just have to wait till i can do the rest for it lol.. ITS NOT FUN YET :( waiting for it to kick in lol xx

yeah same here i keep forgetting why we arnt going on holiday n stuff. my friends bf is taking her away for a few days and i was like awwww why arnt i going on holiday we can afford it. oh no we carnt paying for a wedding. will all be worth it in the end. xx

At about the 4 month mark I hit that lull too. I think so much happens at the start, what with picking venue and dress and BM dresses etc, it's all sooooo exciting. Then there's a period of rest - the calm before the storm, maybe even?! I'm still in a bit of that lull - probably cos I'm so stressed with work that I can't get excited about the wedding yet. With only 2 months to go, I'm hoping the excitement kicks in again soon!!! Hx

i was the same aswell as i had done everything and it seemed to be taking forever!! but now with 2 weeks to go near enough everything is paid for and its all done and i still feel like it is ages away!! xx
