Im desperate to lose weight, as its been getting me down the last couple of days. I dont have long till the wedding and need a drastic diet to get me dwn a cpl of stone. My prob is im a very fussy eater, a vegie who doesnt like salads and some veg!
I want to cut down to 1 portion of carbs a day but im struggling to find things to eat!
I would feel over the moon if i have lost 2st+ by the time my dress fitting comes around :)

lol thats good, the post always seems to take forever even more so if its something that you really want. we are waiting for a load of table decs of some one on ebay but i am worry she is not sending them as she offered them to us after we brought something else off her so it wasnt officially done throu ebay but we payed her throu paypal ( we brought the last week)

They must try to squeeze people into smaller dresses all over the place. i am a size 11 (confirmed by the bridal shop lady) and she put me in an 8. i was like omg it fits me and then she told me the back wasn't done up correctly. oh well nevermind i didnt want to be a size 8 anyway lol. i have bought a gorgeous dress in a size 12 even though i was expecting a 14 because i know they size slightly different in bridal shops.

I think its amazing how gorgeous you feel when trying wedding dresses on, no matter what size you are, when you feel great, the size of the dress really doesnt matter.

It varies from dress to dress. Some are one to two sizes but it can be more. It also depends on where you carry your weight. Mine is all on my hips, bum and legs so I can tend to get away with it being a little smaller as it doesn't matter so much as everything is under the flared bit. If you're an apple shape then I should imagine that you would need a bigger size as you're wider around the waist. To be honest they are just numbers and it shouldn't really matter. Its all about what the dress looks like and makes you feel that matters. I stopped looking at sizes a long time ago as they are never consistent.

I also brought my wedding dress from berketex bride.. I dreaded trying on dresses but I knew I had to at some point so I started dress shopping really early, literally a week after getting engaged so I knew if I found the dress of my dreams I'd have plenty of time to loose weight.. well, I tried on 5 dresses and the 2nd dress I knew was the one as soon as I looked in the mirror. It pulled my waist right in, lifted my boobs.. I felt amazing! I'm normally an 18/20 and my dress has to be a size 26, it was slightly disheartening but its an italian designer and you know what there like! lol.. Anyway, as the dress made me feel amazing I havent worried too much about loosing weight, I've probably put on weight since then (scary) and now I have 9 months till the wedding and I'm starting to worry BIG TIME.. today I've started the Biggest Loser Diet and I'm hoping it works, I want to loose atleast 2 stone, I'm even contemplating trying the cambridge/lighter life diet if a couple months before the wedding I've not had much luck losing! I've also got PCOS and one of the symptoms is weight gain and then you really struggle to get it off! Not having much luck am I lol gonna keep trying though. Big is beautiful and all that but ya know, its about being confident too isnt it?!

i think you both look gorgeous in your dresses. im an 18 on top. 16 on bottom so not sure what size my dress will be. hope they dont try shovin me in a size 12 cos it wont happen lol x
