OMG girls! Everything you read about the day is true... it is the most AMAZING, crazy day of your life and it is over in an instant!

We had a lovely venue that we'd booked exclusively for the whole weekend so had our friends and family arriving on the Friday when we had a BBQ party with a bucking bronco and bouncy castle etc and gave everyone a chance to socialise. The weather was beautfiul all weekend, sooo hot and sunny, we were very lucky!

Slept pretty well and woke up Saturday morning surprisingly calm. The whole day was so surreal, it felt like i was in a dream! So the bridesmaids and I piled into a room to get ready, had breakfast brought to us but all I could manage was the Bucks Fizz!! Make up artist and hairdresser arrived so I let the girls go first and busied myself by helping them and taking photos.

Next thing, my little nephew and usher came knocking at the door with a card and big bouquet or flowers from h2b, such a cute message inside saying how proud my mum would be of me etc (she has passed away) and that set off my maid of honour but i was still pretty calm and keeping it together.

Then it was time for me to have my make-up done and during this both the photographer and florist arrived. My flowers were beautiful and just how i imagined so I was sooo excited. Then another package arrived via my little usher and this time it was a Tiffany box :D (we had a Tiffany Blue wedding) and i had another cute little message with it and inside I had a gorgeous aquamarine bracelet so the colour matched the Tiffany blue. Started getting a bit emtional then but I was being hurried up to get my hair done so was being kept distracted.

Had my hair done then the bridesmaids all went and got dressed, they looked amazing, then it was time for me to get my dress on, thats when it hit me! I felt like i was going to throw up or faint or both! Was so scared of tripping over!

The whole ceremony was a blur of smiles and tears (happy tears). My SIL did an amazing reading and there wasnt a dry eye in the house! Hubby started crying as soon as he saw me which was a shock as he's normally a very manly man! Hehe! Didnt pay any attention to what the registrar was saying, hubby and I just kept smiling and giggling with one another. Said our own vows, that was scary and hubby made me cry with his, sooo cute!

The rest of the day was just champagne, photos, sunshine, smiles and dancing with all our friends and family. Reception room looked so good! We did it all ourselves so had it just how we wanted. Wish I could do it all over again! A few photos in my album but havent got the professional ones yet.


Oh and our surprise honeymoon was Malaysia! Amazing! Can't recommend it enough! I am now selling on most of the things from our day so if you need anything, give me a message! :)
