im very worrid about the bestman organised the stag!!! at first he was on about goin to spain!! but H2B doesnt have a pasport!! and now hes on about doin a day of paintballing or sumit and then renting a boat and getting drunk!!! we are having a very low budget wedding anyway and he wants us to pay for most of the stag!! they is no change we can pay for that the boat alone is a few hunderd to rent!!! what do i say to him??

I would say his ideas sound great as long as it does not cost you anything! I think it is up to the other guys to chip in and pay for themselves....no way would I be paying for things like that unless I had a massive budget. Very cheeky...being polite there!!!

:s just tell him straight. that you dont mind what they do but bear in mind that if its anything that you cant afford realisticly then they will either have to plan something different or pay for it themselves as well as your H2B's share! i am sure he will understand huni just explain that your money has gone onto the wedding so you just dont have that sort of cash spare! xxx

i agree with the others you really just need to tell him you cant afford that if he wants a big over the top stag they need to py for it afterall their doing the planning why should you pick up the bill?

our bestman is pretty much the same, he keeps hinting that he wants all the lads to go the vegas and i wont allow it, we're on a tight budget as it is and going to vegas in not a priority! lol ive told him that if he organises anything away form the uk or too expensive then i wont allow him at the wedding! a bit harsh i know but we just cant afford it, and i particularly dont trust some of his mates, and i know theyll probably persuade h2b to do something he shouldn't, if i trust my instincts from past experiences and seeing how they behave on a night out! do what i did and threaten to organise the stag do yourself! i told our bestman that atm im going to organise it and the hen do and they will both get the same dates! lol and if he doesnt like it, well then he'll have to be reallistic and organise something closer to home and within a set budget. typical lads! hope you get something sorted x

I would give the best man a budget and then say you can do what you want as long as you pay for anything else that goes over this amount. It will soon curb his bright ideas when he has to dig in his own pocket.

my h2b has decided on blackpool and bm has been looking at sites that organise stag nights. i have said no way to that. my h2b knows blackpool like the back of his hand so knows cheap places to stay. and doing it through a company will cost much more!! he isnt really listening tho and making enquires anyway even tho h2b has said he would much rather just book somewhere to stay and then plan things when there
