haha, i just wanted to tell you all that my h2b has now decided on his best man, or should i say best (wo)man, lol. It's a fab idea his best friend is a woman whom he has known for 7 years and i have known for 9 years, but me and h2b were only introduced last year by this girl. So lets hear it for the girls, best (wo)man it is.

Marks is having a best woman too. She's been one of my best and closest friends for several years, and they get on like a house on fire!

The person walking me down the aisle is my FIL2B as my dad died 4 years ago.xx

I was best (wo)man for my freind 2 years ago when he got married, it was an awesome experience. The stag night was brilliant! I remember his dad saying to me that he had been a bit dubious when he had been told, but half way through the stag night and then again the morning of the wedding he informed me that his son couldnt have made a better choice for the job, i was very touched, and how often is it that the best man gets to help the bride with her dress while she pee's lol. I still have my tankard pride of place on my shelf which says best man for day best friend for life...... it sad really though that his wife is has turned into a nasty jealous horrible piece of work who took to putting me (and our other friends) down on every given occassion so that now he hardly ever gets to see us :(

I am having my best freind in the world other than h2b as my bridemaster, or man of honour as i called him, he prefers bridemaster. His boyfriend will also be with us in the morning taking the before photo shots as he does a lot of photography and i dont feel comfortable having a man i dont really know around while me and the kids are getting ready.

I was best woman at my best friend's wedding, but chickened out of the speech lol! I even went along on his stag weekend which was hilarious as they wanted me to go into a strip club!! Luckily I was saved as James didn't want to go to one either lol. He has now said he wants to be my bridesmaid so he can wear a pink frilly dress - he is over 6ft tall and about 20 stone, oh and a tv celebrity ;-)

I have my son and daughter giving me away and they will be making the "father/kids of the bride"speech.. my dad is delighted about this and I love the fact that he and my family are all OK about it. xx We also have a "hero" of the groomsman who is the guy that saved my H2B's life when he was buried in a mining accident about 20 yrs ago, his quick thinking got him out minus a thumb but he is the only reason he is here today.
