Anyone recommend the best way to wear in shoes and make them more comfy? I've got a pair of Jimmy Choos which are lovely and the right size but they sure do hurt at the mo... They are second hand aswell so it's not like they are brand, brand new but still I've got comfier new look shoes which is not good... I've been wearing them around the house and with socks on but just worried my feet are going to be in agony on the day or even worse go flying up the aisle haha! They are stilhettos and pretty high, but all my other shoes are stilhettos and roughly same height, if not higher... Just annoying really :/

Why do they hurt? Do they feel like they are rubbing? Or is it because they are so high?
If they are rubbing and are leather dab a TINY amount of olive oil on the parts that rub.

Put potatoes in them when you are not wearing them, it helps to stretch the leather apparently x

I've used surgical spirit on mine too instead of oil. If they're too tight then wearing them lots with socks will help - if it's the balls of your feet hurting then get some leather insole strips which you can put under the balls to give them some support - or have you tried gel insoles like Party Feet maybe? It may be that as the heels are stiletto that there's more pressure on the balls of your feet because of less surface area on the heel to take the pressure off? I have 3.5 inchers for the day and 1 inch irregular choice ones for when I start the dancing (just in case)!

I was advised to put mine in the airing cupboard when not wearing them to soften them.

I was once told hot potatoes wrapped in foil in the shoes help the leather give a little. Never needed to try it before but anything is worth a try...

There's one part that rubs on my 4th toe on my right foot - its where a button thing connected to the shoe but i've taken that off for the time being and is loads better. I'll pop them in my airing cupboard and see how that goes, but I definately think I'm going to get some fancy flip flops for the day as a back up as normally live in flip flops so cant really go wrong with them (unless they decide to rub aswell!!) xx

if your shoes are leather warm them with something ...could be a hair-dryer then stuff with something that is slightly bigger that the shoe this hen stretches the leather ( this is why the hot potatoes thing works as long as its not a small spud !!!)
