Hey I was wondering as my partner can't decided who to pick for his best man can you have three? I'm thinking if he's having three then so am I. Is the like any rule or reason as why you should really only have one, proberly sound a bit stupid asking this but never mind lol. xx

other people have had multiple best men, unsure how it would work at speech time and the seating arrangements at the top table though, unless youre having a sweetheart table/only your parents sat with you or something

May have to do that and have parents at the top table. How would we both put are parents on the table as mine and his mum are single but both are farther a are in a relationship and my dad is soon to be married this year, could there partners be put at the table too or would it be awkward and not work do you think?

its a mine field hahaha ive no idea ermmmm i guess it depends how close you are with the step mums i guess? if theres any animosity then id probably not seat them at the top table - same if they have only been together 5 minutes. its complicated when the parentals arent together my mum and dad arent together anymore, not having him at the top table, i am having my mums partner there though

Both of our parents are with different partners so we're saying that the partners will be at a separate table as there just isn't enough room! We are having just us, our parents plus BMs etc on the top table xx

Yea I suppose hmmmm will have to have a think about it, I get along with my step mum but then just thinking they have two young kids (half brother and sister) so can't really put them on there own unless she thought it would be ok for them to sit with my other brothers and sisters. Lots of things to think about I can see me stressing over all this more than my partner lol. x

I have a MOH and 3 bridesmaids and h2b has one BM and then 3 ushers/groomsmen. Only the best man will be on the top table though as otherwise there'll be too many. Also parents wise, its only my dad on top table (my mum passed away and too much friction between h2b parents!) xx

we had 2 adult BM's and two flowergirls and we decided we wanted the same amount of men as such so we had 2 Ushers, Best man and a Groomsman so that when we came back down the aisle in the church we had pairs

Were having his brother on the top table then the other best man, usher and bms on the table nearest the top table :)

Four best men I thought my h2b was bad lol. Think I will have three maid of honors as there will be arguments about why I chose her and not her if you get me lol. Think I will get my h2b to have a sit down and figure out a date as some forums on here that are having there wedding day in 2014 have got most things sorted from there venues to the small things but we haven't even set a date, I'm one of those people that need to have things sorted in advance don't think I could cope if I had to do it all last minute lol. Xx

My H2B was 1 of 2 best men for his friends wedding, they split the duties, Both organised stag, H2B did speech (amazing but then i am biased <3 ) and other bestman arranged a slide show of photos of the groom in embarrasing situations from childhood to wedding and then put some lovely pics of the couple at the end, was good watching him go from silly boy, to rebellious teen, to calming down and getting married. We're only having one best man and 2 ushers, 1 MOH and 2 flowergirls although he did want 2 x

I think it makes sense to match the number of groomsmen to bridesmaid....for dancing purposes :) We're having three of each. But I think it's one best man and two groomsmen/ushers, if that makes sense?

when my sister got married her husband had two best men .. they both did short speeches ... they sat the bridesmaids & best men (with partners) on a "2nd" table and had themselves with all the parents.
We had all the parents (and partners) on a table together (they're all grown ups) and we sat with our best man & bridesmaids (and partners).

Oh right yea i never thought of doing that MeIN, think we will have to sit down and make a plan with who will be sitting where. I've sort of got an idea of who i want to sit where but that's my side of the family and its not very big so will hardly be anyone lol.
