My h2b has just received a TXT from his best man also his eldest son saying he cant be best man at our wedding also wont be attending our wedding as hes going down to wales to see his nan, i understand this, but i just feel like everything is going against us, there was nearly a big family fall out because he chose his eldest son rather than his other sons, sorry for the rant xx

I don't think he would. You're only asking why he's not even going to the wedding, you don't even have to mention the bestman bit if you didn't want to. If i was in you're shoes, i would want to know, seen as there has been arguments alread over who you're h2b decided on x

Oh hun i know how u feel! My h2b was going to have 2 best men and the 1st one dropped out because his wifes sister is getting married on the same day and then the 2nd one dropped out coz 'he cant handle the pressure' and 'its too much responsibility' Lets just say h2b was slightly pea'd off! He wasnt gonna have to do a speech either all h had to do was organise the stag do! Grrrr!

well my h2b has asked his other son to do it, his eldest is moving down to wales next month, but cant afford to get back for the wedding, so im going to pay for him to come back and surprise my h2b on the day, my h2b is really upset about it, but at least he will be back for the wedding even though he wont be part off it thank you ladies xx
