Hi all, now my H2B has decided that he doesn't want a best man. . . after me trying very hard to convince him he has stuck to his decision, which i suppose is just that. He says he would like our 7 year old son to stand beside him and sort of take the place of a best man (he is also the ring bearer). Do you HAVE to have a best man? We are having both of our dads as wtnesses for the signing of the register. my eldest daughter (13) is my maid of honour, does anybody think that this is wrong??? We've had a lot of mixed reactions over this but surely it's OUR day and if that's what we want that should be it!!! I'm now thinking that it will be really nice and family orientated. . . I don't know. . . I'm not stressing out over it though as it's what we want, but a few opinions would be appreciated, thanks.

I agree its your day so you have it your way. Its no one else's wedding but yours, they can all do exactly what they think is right on their days (if they haven't already had one). I don't think there's an age limit on anything is there? or a way of doing anything wrong? x
