Just ahd this email from best man....
I can promise you 2 things about tomorrow.

Ringo will no touch another woman and he will not lose any of his hair.

In exchange He may not reply to text messages, come home on time, or be useful on Sunday and he will not get any grief for this?

    Deal?

I am livid, 1, Why is the fact that he wont touch another woman in the deal?! if i say no does that mean he will encourage him! 2, he will be home before 4 (everywhere shuts at 3!) n dont care about the texts but i have 6 kids to look after n am not havin him lay about all day while i do everything! I am actually in tears! They can use his faithfulness as a bargaining tool?!

Rngo can have hs stag night but its a certainty he wll be faithful n he will keep his hair cos if not the best man actually in fact all of them will have me to deal with!
N as for the next day cant have hm sat on hs arse all day, its not possible in a house with this many kids! Youd think hed realise that! Now dont want hm to go on hs stag thats made me so paranoid, insecure enough as it is wthout that!

I'd make Ringo very aware of what his best man has said to you and have a chat with him yourself.

On the one hand you might be a bit miffed if he said "Well on your hen you're allowed to do this, this and this but you're not allowed to do this OR come home too mashed up" It's your hen, you're supposed to be able to let your hair down, dsame with him and his stag. It's a fine line between 'dictating' how he has to behave and asking him nicely to behave himself and then trusting him to do the right thing.

As for this best man - smack him one Steph!! :P xxx

I think you need to step back and look at the e-mail like a bloke I don't in anyway think your H2B could be encouraged into touching other women (you would not be marrying him if he played away!)
I think the e-mail is just a blokey giggle and a pre warning he will be rough that's what happens when blokes are together! espessially on a stag night I'm glad my H2B is going to Newcastle for the weekend I don't have to deal with the hangovers lol
I would say yeah he gets a lie in but he still has his children to tend to just because his brain has stopped from too much alcohol intake doesn't mean the kids will stop!!! if all else fails get the kids to jump on the bed!!!
Honestly I wouln't worry It's one night they get to be stupid and have an excuse to!
    Try not to worry xxx

No deal. know he will not touch another woman. Cos f he does there will be no wedding. n the hair... do so at your own peril.

I do not care about the text messages, but he will come home at a decent time not the following day. I have kids n the house n will not have them bein put out. N as for the next day i will have 6 kids in my house, n he will have to help out at some point.

I dont really appreciate bein blackmailed with him bein fathful!

Shouldve put that in too dove... x

But you know in your heart it's not a bargaining tool as your H2B would never do it!
Just tell the Bestman (Pain in the ar5e man) to sod off H2B can have his fun but not to be e-mailing you the silliness I think the Bestman is e-mailing you just to wind you up!

    His reply...
Please define a decent time. Don’t want him doing a “ringo disappearing act” at midnight cause he thinks you’ll give him grief. It’s his last EVER night out as a single man!

Just to clarrify rngo has a tendancy to do one on nights out.. even when am there... he never has a time to be in at.. just he gets told not to wake us up n take the p***...

told him between 4 n half past is a decent time as everywhere shuts at 3/3.30...

ringo isnt impressed either... thank god!x

I think Lizzie is bang on.

You KNOW he's not going to touch another woman, so that shouldnt be an issue - its in the email cos its a man thing!
Lets face it a Stag Do is meant to be their last night of "freedom" and for many many many years its been a jokey thing about the stag being surrounded by loads of beautiful women when we know thats not the case.

I would have replied with a simple - OK just make sure he is home SAFE.

Laying down the law and telling him he MUST be home by a certain time i going to make things far worse - he'll be full of ale and probably not give the time a second thought!

I know i would not enjoy my hen night if mark said i had to be home by a certain time - i'd be too busy worrying about geting home on time to enjoy it.

Do not take this the wrong way, but i really think you are over-reacting. Did you not discuss the stag night and the hangover the morning after beforehand? If so could you not have said that you will deal with the kids the day afer so long as he deals with them the day after your hen do??

I cant see anything in that email that looks like blackmail - yeah he said he wouldn't touch another woman, but its not blackmail is it? In replying the way you did you are only confirming his mates thoughts that he needs your permission to go out and it looks like he's under the thumb - he'll get ripped to bits for that.

Maybe its just me being far too laid back but something like that wouldn't bother me in the slightest - i really dont get why women kick off about their blokes stag do's. At the end of the day they are coming home to us and if you trust them completely let them have a good time. And all this "its not my H2B i dont trust its his mates" is rubbish. Your H2B's are grown men and capable of saying "No" or walking away from something they don't feel comfortable with. I really beleive that as much as its denied, it is a doubt in the mind of the bride 2 be about her H2B and whether she FULLY trusts him.

Let the lad go out and enjoy his stag do, and try not to look for things that aren't there.

    It will be fine.

I wont take it wrong way at all! Yeah we did n he said it would be business as normal the next day (i think mainly cos he wont wanna deal with them on his own the day after my hen) so thats what am stickin too... I do trust ringo 100% but he is very easily led, n you may think thats a bs excuse but ts the honest truth lol! Now am not sayin he would be led n the arms of someone else.. ts the all nght partys, i was fine with that untill he took it too far onr night..

Thanks goff.. There the words i need to hear :o)
