Hi, ive tried lots of make up but they all seem to wear off pretty quickly unless I cake it on...dont want to do that...can anyone suggest a good cover foundation that wont look like im from Towie?

Ive bought Estee lauder! but I'm using model in a bottle make up setting spray which is one hell of a miracle its like hairspray for your make up! Totes Amazeballs!!! xxxx

I've got my trial next week for hair and make up but i am that fussy with my make up i have a sneaky feeling i may end up cancelling the make up on the day and doing it myself!!x
The Estee lauder is really good I have had little freebie bottle and will buy some when next need some. I would reccomend getting a sample (it lasts ages).
Make sure you moisturize regularly. Try water proof eye liner and mascara the number 7 double ended long lasting lipstick is good too.

i am also having the same problem as i have very bad skin, i am getting in contact with loads off differnt makeup artists and asking them what is the best to use. most off them have been very helpfull

im currently looking at make up artists for my day and ive come across one who actually does airbrushing over make up to help it last throughout the day,i havent had a chance to look at the articles shes sent me to explain how it work but if want to have a look feel free to message me and i can send u the links. dont know if that may help. everyone has diff skin/sensitivities etc so certain makeups will work better on one person than on another. x

I like bare mineral s as well and the mineral foundation is so easy to touch up through the day if you feel its wearing off.x

i have really sensitive skin so im not sure what im going to do about mine on the day if i can afford it i will have someone do it for me but im really fussy and will prob end up doing it myself! unless im going out i dont wear any make up i really liked a trial i had a few years in debenhams xx

Halebob85 - believen it or not my favourite waterproof mascara is natural collect (£1.99 i think) maybe cheap but i forgot to take mine (use to use m faxtor) on holiday so just run in and brought one to do the job and I LOVE IT!!! not to thick, not gloopy does actually stay on (went swimming and everything) plus allows u to top it up during the day to keep lashes loking fresh without becauseing to thick horrid looking x

halebob85, i know it may sound cheap, but ive found tescos VIVO range of mascaras really good, i wear contacts and it doesnt affect them at all. only issue being that you need strong makeup remover, as if u use something like Simple eye makeup remover (like me) rather than the mascara transferring onto the cotton wool pad, it seems to just migrate to under ur eyes! the pencil eyeliner isnt amazing, it smudges really easily, but they have good strong colours that go on well.
or try body shop makeup, i get all eyeshadows from there, a little goes a long way so last forever

eyeliner - i use LOreal Super Liner Black Lacquer liquid eyeliner Black Vinyl and it doesn't come off. It is like lacquer but it is so good. It is the best liquid eyeliner i have ever used.
I am struggling to decide if I should get my makeup done or not - when i got it done for my BFF's wedding I looked ridiculous - so caked on and white looking, wasn't happy. It is seriously expensive too. But will it really be worth it? Probably but.....??
I might get the bare minerals too - my friend started using it recently and she looks radiant!

Use a product called model in a bottle its a make up setting spray and it really keeps everything in place!!!!

There is also an urban decay "all night" make up setting spray which helps keep make up on longer. You just spray it on your face after applied make up and it should set it. Its good for nights out and keeps make up on . You can buy is at Frasers House...x

I have having Estee Lauder Light Double Wear Foundation instead of just Double Wear Founation as it has light reflecting pigments and doesnt make your face go white as the Double Wear can x x p.s last all day too!!

I use Benefit but mist some hairspray onto my face to hold it in place for longer. Not like spray-directly-into-my-face, but sort of like when you put on perfume, or maybe deodorant would be a better analogy.

Hiya. Congratulations by the way x My make-up was so last minute. I was going to do this myself but a make-up artist did point out you do need more than usual to look flawless on the photos. I ended up paying for a spray/air-brush make up by this mobile artist and it was one of my best decisions. I have combination skin and find make up with out re-touching doesnt last.. This did and my skin looked perfect .Cost me £100 with trial Hope this helps x Melissa

I used clarins skin care regime and primer, maybelline dream matte mousse and a finishing spray to hold it so it didn't rub off. lasted till about 9:30pm - so hot i dont think it could fight the sweat beads on my face lol xxx
