Well my dress is from Berketex Liverpool and they have been lovely every time I've gone in AND really helpful. I think it depends on the people in the shop. It could happen anywhere.

I'm only in the early stages of planning my own wedding, but my friend who's wedding is this February coming, has actually ordered her dress from Berketex in Bristol and they were amazing with her, i went to all her fittings and the dress she has is gorgeous, the price was unbelievably good for the amazing quality of the dress. And the ladies in the shop were so nice! I definitely think i'm going to make an appointment there when i go shopping for my dress! Everyone else has good experiences too so maybe you caught them on a bad day melody. Looks like you had a good wedding anyway though! LOVE your cake! x
I'm a berketex bride and so far I think the service I have received has been fantastic! I ordered 'Trina' from the Bath St, Glasgow store and the staff couldnt have been any nicer. I'd tried dresses on in a few other shops and the staff were so snooty and made me feel like an inconvenience. Jackie at Berketex couldnt have been any nice or helpful! I've been in again so that my MoH and Mum could see my dress and they were totally accommodating yet again. Still a while to go before I collect my dress but I was so comfortable with the staff that I dont expect any problems what so ever. I just couldnt believe it when THE dress turned out to have the same name as me rofl (everyone shortens Katrina to Trina lol)

I'm getting my dress from Berketex bride Leeds, and so far everything has been amazing. I couldn't complain, the staff have been lovely, really kind and helpful. I can't wait to go for my first fitting, they have told me I can pop back at any time with any one I like to see my dress and try it on again. I've gone for a dress that I saw on the website and wasn't blown away by but liked. but as soon as I put it on it was perfect, and to top it off its Called Beth, so same name as me =D its almost like fate heehee. I'd recommend Berketex bride to anyone. =D

Kat i hope you have a much better experience in bath street than i did ! I found the member of staff i dealt with on two occasions was both rude and incompetent. With 2 weeks till my wedding my dress was a size too small !

im a berketex bride. ive ordered 'nancy' it felt amazing when i tried it on. i went to J4U bridal and the serive i received there was appaling, the woman couldnt do the dresses up properly and she just kept talking to me with an attitude, she made me, my mum, mil2b and ex moh feel very uncomfortable. but the service i have receieved so far has been good with berketex, im just a lil worried about the measurements but if there wrong they can sort it out because i paid extra for the length of my gown.
