This is the size chart for the Benjamin Roberts dresses. I couldn't find one before when searching but managed to get the info from the bridal shop. Thought it might help some others who wanted it as for some reason they don't publish it on any website. size 22 dress 46 boobs 38 waist 48 Hips

Yeah I have the 951. Before I went to order it I couldn't find a chart for the sizes at all so it was nice to get the details from the shop. I now know just how much weight I can lose now before I get married as I can only have the dress taken in up to two dress sizes now.

It depends on the designer croc to what measurements they go by but even if you look at the UK high street dress sizes they all differ by one or two inches.
OMG if my designer has similar sizing I will never fit in 10 minimum I'll fit after diet is 12 and atm I would be 16 near to 18 :(

im having the 1033 not been ordered yet til june i was shocked that the one i tried on was a size 16 but ur right noone sees the labels!!! i was hoping to loose some weight but i just cant seem to get into the gym grr been last nite n tonight but then i eat all the wrong things n im back to square one!! they said in december they will probably order me a size 14 so il be gutted if iv actually put weight on!!

You don't have to go to the gym to lose weight. I can't use it and do very little walking etc. I've lost 5lbs in a week by healthy eating. I use myfitnesspal (google it and its free) to keep an eye on what I am eating and it keeps me where I need to be. If I stop using it I tend to wander off the path and think that little thing won't hurt. It really highlights were you are going wrong and keeps you motivated. There are a few of us on there if you want to add us as friends.

ah well done! im such a faddy eater i really struggle to eat healthy its harder bcoz im still stuck at my rents hopefully when weve bought a house by the end of the yr il have more control of the food in my cupboards and il have space to do things at home too cant wait to be able to do my own shopping again!! we had to move back to rents to save the house deposit it sucks!!! il get googling!

lol apparently im already a member hmmm i had an app on my phone but its disappeared when i got my new one the other wk must be the same thing!! my weakness is being starving when i get in from work n grab the easiest thing to make ie pizza or chips!

Yeah you can use it as an app on the phone as well as on the laptop. I know what you mean about that. Have you thought about maybe doing a small bowl of cereal while dinner is cooking? Its what I do as its not as fattening and fills you while dinner is on the go.

I have Benjamin Roberts too!! I didn't look at the sizes, the lady measured me and that was it ... I didn't think to look at the label, I will have a look on 25th when I have a fitting ... will be interesting as I'm usually a 10

ok done yesterday n today im not eating enough calories apparently ha ha well il try stick to being good n not binge eat when i get home i have been good this wk instead of the pizza i really wanted for tea i had pasta need to keep up the gym for now it does work for me but i need to do it to keep ontop of my bad back too chiropractor told me i should be going cant wait to buy a house then i wont av to buy choccy will be no temptation if its not calling me from the cupboards!!
i didnt look at the label on my dress i asked the assistant n she was very hesitant at telling me!! he he i wonder why silly sizes!!

Undereating is just as bad so you need to make sure that you are using them all up. You will get there.

Woah I just used my fitness pal, and without really knowing it I am actually eating what I should to lose weight and also I measured myself and did lose inches, I would be a size 16 properly, so maybe if I keep on that way my dress won't need much alteration :)

Haha according to that I have a size 10 top and a size 14 bottom..... But then I've always had that problem with dresses - I've no idea how I managed to actually get away with the shape of dress I'm going for.... Maybe Ronald Joyce's designer makes stuff for women with real hips ;p

I think designers tend to use very old fashioned measures....I used to do a fashion design course and everyone was about 3 sizes bigger when measuring and pattern cutting. The size is just a number...its how you feel!!

But I love the way his dresses pull you in and give such a fab shape. I've gone past the point of caring what the tag says. Just think it is good for the girls that want to order from ebay etc so they can work out what size they need to be looking at in order to fit in them. I think I would have cried if I had ordered a dress from ebay to find it was two sizes too small for me.

In theory those are about the same as the standard sizes should be. I'd have to take an 18 on the bust, 14 waist and 16 hips. I know my measurements so I've never really worried that much about sizes.

Are any of you other Benjamin Roberts lovers finding your dress is taking forever to turn up?
I ordered mine last November, it was due here at the end of March. Then my dress shop promised last Monday, yet it's still not here!
With 11 weeks to go i'm starting to get concerned i'll never see my stunning dress again!

My mum is a bridal wear designer and people would come and say I am a size 10..she would take their measurements and write them down..so the ladies wouldn't be shocked she would say.".ignore them..they are dress maker's measurements allowing for turnings and seams" lol when they were actual accurate measurements..let's face it..you could be a size 10 and 5' 10" and a size 10 and be 4' 11" the measurements would be totally different. If the dress fits and looks amazing who cares what size it is...xx
