I am having a vintage seaside theme wedding with Purple & Pink colour theme.
Instead of having a standard postbox for people to put cards in iwould really like one that looks like a beach hut & have it in my colour theme (either i can paint it or if it can come like that great)
Does anyone know where i can find such a thing or do you think its best for my to give H2B a little wedding project?

I think it'd be nice to let your h2b make it if he can! :) more personal and probably cheaper :)

Hmmm Ive seen them in moneybox size but nothing bigger to be honest! :-( Maybe get one of those as a guide for h2b to replicate then use it as a decoration on the table after??

Thanks madison_uk - these look good, i am just not sure if i want somethinga bit bigger..
Could do as Hails suggests and get one of these for H2B to replicate - i will speak to H2B tonight and see if he is up for the challenge!

Hi MrsP2be im also having a pink and purple colour theme as well as a seaside theme. I have bought a plain tall post box on the auction site and my friend is decorating it as a beach hut for me. I will put pics on here when she has done it then you can see what its like xx
It's great to say i get married this year September 1st 2012

can you not buy a standard post box and not use the lid, but make it with strips of bamboo stuck together and cut a posting hole? then just decorate the box part by covering it in glue and putting sand on it and seal it with some lacer from a homeware store? maybe put a purple door on it with a pink heart with you initials to keep the them going? and maybe some shells?
