Just wondering if anyone knows of any converted barns in central Scotland available for weddings? It seems to be a really popular option in England, and its right up our street, but so far we've only found one. Thanks! x

There's Kinkell Byre in St. Andrews, Kirknewton Stables and Comrie Croft. Macgregor Barn and Bar is near Aberfoyle but can only hold 54 guests. I was really surprised how few we could find, there is also Woodend Barn in Banchory (theres no pics on their site so have to request a brochure), The Mill in Gretna Green, and Crear, though they're all too far away for us. The Circular Stable at Prestonfield in Edinburgh is also an option but they don't fit our informal ideal and would make us use their catering! Mavis Hall Park in East Lothian was a beautiful option perfect for this kind of wedding but they've recently decided to stop doing themand have filled their last bookings, such a shame! Where are you from, your page is restricted? x

awwww I was just going to say, I did a wedding gig last year at Mavis Hall and that was quite cool but I had no idea they stopped doing weddings. Mind you the staff were very snooty there. Could be cos we were "just the band" though.
