Didnt think It would be possiable to afford a nice recpetion but just found out by re-looking at a website they are now doing a special offer when booked for jan or feb! free room hire and 20% off the food saves so much money. Theres a wedding farye at the venue sunday so cant wait to go have a look around and hopefully going perpared will help me find out more about the cost.
I thought you'd have to pay the majourity upfront but only £500 then £500 6 months before, the final balance isnt due unitll 7 days before the wedding. Which means ladies... it gives me nearly 3 years to save up for that dream venue!! So excited just hope im not let down on sunday when i go to the farye lol almost sounds to good to be true!! xxx

Theres also a great hotel in Eatbourne which only charges for food plus they are having a re-fit next year so by 2013 it should look all new and shiny :) we booked ours there. Let me know if you need help with any discounted suppliers happy to help!

I got a fab deal with mine, its a well know chain and very smart. For £2000 we got allday room hire, red caret arrival, 3 course meal for 40 with personalised menus, arrival drinks, wine with meal, sparkling wine for toast, hire of cake stand and knife, Tabel linen and napkins, evening buffet for 80, disco and dancefloor, hotel master of ceremonies, complimentary bed and breakfast for bride and groom, special accomodation rates for guests and a wedding co-ordinator. Because its a quiet time of the year they also let us upgrade to the grander room for free and they are really nice and friendly oh and we get full use of the gym and pool aswell! x

We are getting a fab deal in edinburgh £2500 for : room, red carpet, 3 courses for 50 (menue, name cards, and seating plan included), all linen even chair covers, cake satnd + knife, master of ceromonies, buffet for 100 in the evening and a years membership to the golf and country club for us both :D
