Wedding Forum - Bargain I think!!...

Went to a wedding fair on Sunday and found someone to do mine, moh, bm, mob and 2 flower girls hair and make for a total of £130 and that's at the venue!! Sounds like a really good price, is it??

Edited to add it includes trial of hair and make up for me

Really good price! My hair is costing £120 for me,moh,3 adult bm,3 flowergirls and mother of bride(including trials) but my makeup jut for me is £30 extra x

wow thought i was getting a good deal lol my make-up lady uses airbrush which feels amazing!! had my trial and my mummy had her trial cost £50 for the 2 and will cost £100 on he day for me , mum 2 bm's and an extra £25 if mil wants hers done plus as shes over 50 she has tohave a trial aswell . my hair is the scary one as shes charging £30 a head and again its me mum 2 bm 2fgs and mil but in the hair trial she cut my hair really short after i asked her to not take of the length as my shair goes super curly when short , the waterfall braid looked a little messy (although as she didnt have a mirror i only saw from a photo and where she pinned it looked a complete mess but she did say she will do it better on the day but i paid £48 for that trial! so wish i could try someone else but she was the only one in the area i could find and shes a really nice lady i would feel awful telling her i need someone else to do it. it turns out she has only just qualified and has never done wedding hair!!!! so im really nervous about that and shes not charging newly qualified prices! or is she?

Gosh Laura if your not happy with your hair trial i would really look for someone else you don't want to be someone for her to practice on, you only have one wedding day (or in my case 2 lol ) Don't be worried about her feelings worry about your own x

believe me i know you're right i just cant seem to bring myself to say anything :/ im sure it will be ok hes cut my hair so short not really much she could mess up but she hasnt even done the trial for the bm,s as she has moved house since agreeing to it and now says its so far it would cost me £80 for her trial an up do :/ i'll work something out though im not letting it get me down with such a short time its unlikely im gonna find a stand in and the fact she has asked 4 times when the wedding is and what time and still doesnt know what time to arrive as shes not sure how long it will take (this is what prompted me to ask if she knew what she was doing and how i found out shes just qualified and never done wedding hair argg) actually writing this now think im going ot have one more quick look around and see if i can find anyone in the area :( urrggghh panicking now ;/
