<---------------just seen an ad for it on here so there must be a supplier
lala it covers everything without looking like you applied it with a trowel... redness, spots, freckles, uneven skin tone and dark circles.. even helps with perspiration coz its powder. You just look fresh and "natural" (in a make up helped way) Most important thing though is to make sure its mineral based.

i'm struggling with make up too, i can never get it right. i have just changed from a liquid foundation to a mousse one and its awful!!! it just makes my skin look dry and flakey. i've tried many brands and applicators but nothing seems to work as i am quite pale with combination skin prone to spots. i'll have to go for the make-up trial i think to see if its suits :/
CommentAuthorloubyscooby
Alimarie05, you cannot go wrong with a mineral powder foundation. Its easy to apply with a brush and as long as you give your moisturiser a little time to soak in you will be fine. Its best to pay for one that has minerals in it as they are more light refecting but any cosmetic counter will put some on for you so you can see the result before you buy.

CommentAuthorPennylane
I got the starter kit and the eyes lips and cheeks for my christmas off Dave, got it when it had 15% off at Debenhams. I really like it it's really natural and I think it's great value, if even for the great make up brushes alone! I love the fact it's good for your skin and you can sleep in it cos I'm terrible for not removing my make up at the end of the day!
I am gonna get the smokey eyes kit with the money my dad gave me for christmas.

CommentAuthorGriff
@lalabuni yes but you need a layer of the mineral veil combined with bisque :)
CommentAuthorsouthern
Griff - isn't bisque like a soup?
CommentAuthorGriff
lol it is also the name of one of the bare minerals it's a powder concealer :D either that or I have lost my marbles and just told a bride to slap soup on her face :) xx
CommentAuthorsouthern
Hahahaha - it's just that I have "lobster bisque" in my head, sure it's some kind of soupy thing?
Although I'm sure you know your makeup, so haven't told anyone to put soup on lol

will do then ........i asked the makeup artist if he worked freelance ( for poss doing my makeup on the day plus 3 BM`s) and he has quoted me about £200 ...... seems alot of money
Have to be honest, I tried it, and my skin didn't like it at all. Felt exactly like I had powder on my face, and it felt like it was sucking all the moisture out of my skin (and no I didn't put too much on - I hardly used any at all). But I do have sensitive skin, so perhaps that's why - it did look good though. I would definitely get a lesson on using it though, I've seen some people use far too much and you can see that it looks like they have used a layers of powder on their faces.
Had my hair and make up trial last week, and my lady used MAC stuff, with a primer, concealer and tinted moisturiser and I couldn't feel it on my skin at all - didn't feel like I was wearing any make up - which is good for me as I don't usually wear anything at all apart from on night's out, so I was worried about feeling like I had a layer of gunk on my face - LOL
"Of course I'm not wedding obsessed!!"
CommentAuthorFaeth
Oh, on that kind of subject - anyone recommend a good primer that would work with the BM stuff, and also for other make up? Does anyone know if the BM primer is designed specifically for their make up, or whether it's a general primer?
