Sorry if i have put this in the wrong section.. but could not find a Banns catagory!
When me and my OH went to register our marriage.... im SURE the registra said that the banns would go off straightaway and the 15 days would start from tomorrow.. that was 2 months ago....
Am i right in thinking cos i have not heard anythng, theres no problem with it???

If your getting married in church then your banns are read out in the church within 3 months of the wedding then you get a certificate before the wedding.

Then you wont have banns then, you only have banns read when u get married in a church.

Sorry I was meant to say you arrange for them to be read within 3 months of the wedding. So probably a good idea to organise this with your church now so you can get the dates in your diary x

Objections would only arise if you were already married, or siblings, or something like that.

ours are beaning read 3 weeks in march in a row then there will only be one week before Wedding x

i think that your notice will be outside the regristry office for 2 weeks i think if you havent heard anything then everything should be fine but if your worried about it then just give them a call and ask them hun xxx

you should ring your vicar hun because without your banns being read you wont be able to get married.
