Hi, trying to do our budget and wondering how much everyone is paying for their bands?

We've got a 3 piece band doing 2 sets with DJ in between, costing us £850

we got a beatles tribute band doing 2 x 45min sets and a dj provided by them for a staggering...wait for it....£2300 thats not including the money for travel and accommodation lol x

We are paying £1750 - thats for two sets in the evening then two accoustic sets during the ceremony and reception drinks - i think evening alone was £1250

There are so many people out there who will tell you
what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!

were paying 700 for a duo for 5 hour set plus disco at end once they finish!!!

My 5 piece band charge between 650 - 1000. Depending on travel, playing time etc.

There is a string quartet that does the ceremony and reception for only £480 in Manchester area. They are called the Endymion String Quartet and they do lots of pop and modern music too...

I have a friend who is in a brilliant band, we've been to a few of their gigs and they do a fantastic set that gets everybody dancing. They charge £250 because they do it for their love of gigging, I was told I'd get mates rates but I'm happy paying £250 we haven't looked at a DJ yet so not sure what they are going to charge.
