Hi Marie, My auntie got remarried about 5 years ago she lives up in Darlington and she had a band called groove nation. they were really good and i'm sure they'd be able to get to wakefield it's not too far from Darlington is it? if you wanted more details I'm sure I could ask my auntie. x

My hubby plays in a rock band...they play 80's 90's noughties ...Bryan Adams, Blondie, Pretenders, Journey, Adele, Cher, to name a few. They are West Yorkshire based. He only started playing with them this week so i will keep you posted on whether they are any good or not...I know another good rock band too that are yorkshire based..they are called SoundHouse.

I've got a swing singer coming from Manchester to the midlands and he is still only £400 with the travel and start curtain.
what sort of band are you after? what music do you want. my dad is in a few bands so i may be able to help. they will travel all around the country to xx

thank you all for your replies.im looking for a mix of music or like a swing band as have a dj as part of the room hire at my venue.just wanted that extra something thou. :-)
