Hi all, question for you. What are you doing about bags? I feel like I should have a bag but probably won't bother. But what bout the bridesmaids? Are you getting them bags? Or saying they can just do without until the evening when they can use their own? Might be worrying about nothing!!! Xx

My friend had a bag when she got married, but I'm not planning on having one (I might change my mind closer to the time but I don't think I will) It's my wedding day, I don't plan on having anything on me which I would need a bag for. As for bridesmaids, I hadn't thought about whether they'll have bags, we're hoping to get ready at my venue so I def don't think they'll have them at the Church anyway, as they can leave phones and things in my room. My brother can be the man of the party and carry his phone for any emergency :p

We're just having the one venue so once the ceremony and photos are over the girls can go upstairs and grab their on bags in they've brought one with them. I won't be carrying a bag at all though... I'll either have a tab for myself at the bar for the reception or just make sure my then husband has enough change in his pockets to cover my drinks as well.

Hmm that's what I thought get them bags for the evening. I won't really need anything (not planning on being my phone etc) we are all in the same venue too, so they won't need them til after the ceremony. Xx

I had a bag when I was a MoH a couple of years ago. I think it was in my hand for a whole 20 seconds. Honestly, I didn't need it. I am not having one as a bride, either.

I'll get mine matching silver bags. It just adds to the image. I'll probably get an ivory one in a similar style for myself, and leave it with my mum or MOH.

Thanks everyone. I think I'm going to look for small dolly bags for them, just for little bits like lippy and room card etc. I won't have one. I think they can be taken down before the ceremony and put under their seat so they have them for later. Their partners aren't coming til the evening do. X

    Hi,

I got some small clutch bags for myself and my BMs, so we had somewhere for our lipsticks, tissues, contact lense drops etc

If you want to see them in action, there are some BM photos in my album "the big day" x

I'm not going to have a bag. I'm going to ask my mum if she can take a massive handbag that has her stuff in and also mine too haha! I might suggest it to my bridesmaids too if they get there OHs to keep a little bag for them all. x

I'm not going to have a bag either
My mum will have a hairbrush (depending on how i have my hair) and I can put my lipgloss in her bag too
Bridesmaids can leave their stuff in my room and go and get it after

At my friends wedding we just all used our own bags and the partners bought them and kept them until after the ceremony. The bride also had a bag but she didn't use anything from it the whole night, and all the rest of us used was a lipgloss and eyeshadow just to touch up in the evening so they were pointless really! For this reason I'm not having one and I'm not buying my bridesmaids ones either xxx

My mum bought me my ivory clutch which I love and I will be buying for bridesmaids, I'm having one as personal preference to keep my own stuff together, but I will also leave a bag with my mum for emergency uses like keeping paracetamol, plasters etc in :) x
