So I may have gone a little crazy but I'm thinking of giving out badges as a little extra touch before the service! So basically having two lots one saying TEAM BRIDE with a red rose and the other saying TEAM GROOM with a moustache or something then getting the ushers to hand them out with the order of the days as guests go to take their seats for the service.
OR
Maybe having a basket on the message table with them all in so evening guests can have them too and having 4 or 5 different sayings and then they can pick which one they want so the team ones above then something like let's party I came for the cake I don't do weddings (can you think of any more saying I could have??)
that sort of thing, what do you think?

I like the idea, only problem might be is that some people may not wear them depending on the material of their outfit. What about on a ribbon like a medal?

Hmmm I could attach them to their goody bags maybe? (I have ended up with a few favours so I have got little bags to put them all in so I could attach the badge to those somehow??)

I agree it's a good idea, but that people might not want to attach them to clothes.
Maybe you could get those kiddie badges that don't have pins? Xx

At work the people who have to wear name badges have ones that attach with a magnet so clothing isn't snagged or ruined xxx

Personally, if I was given one I wouldn't wear it?? Sorry, just being honest!!

whenever i wear badges i attach it to the strap of my dress so it doesnt snag my clothing, if i was wearing a strapless dress i wouldnt wear it, but i would attach it to my bag.
i just think it depends on whether you think people will wear them trying to hink how my own guest would react and I raeally dont know what they would do.
the kids defo would, not so sure about the adults

I know our guests are not likely to wear them if we did badges but everyone's different. Kids will love them!

The ones with the sayings are OK but personally I wouldn't go for the team bride/groom idea as you will segregate people and it will stop them from mixing and chatting. Most of the time the first question asked is 'so do you know the bride or the groom?' and the badges would stop that from happening so you may find people sticking to just talking to the people that they know. And personally, I wouldn't wear a badge at a wedding, but that's just me xxx

I like the ones with the sayings too. But I would definitely change pin backs for magnets so more people would be able to wear them x

i don't think my guests would wear badges but you know your friends/fam and it's quite a good idea if you think it's something they'd go for. Maybe do it just in the evening when people are a little bit merrier and just go for the ones with the sayings on. Instead of badges maybe look into stickers? less damaging to clothes!
