No, shoes are fine to see! Mine were used by my husbands' best mate's wife for her wedding and she gave them to me (my something old), so he definitely saw them before the wedding. 7 months on and all is well here LOL!

No, I wouldn't worry, you've gotto wear them in. As long as doesn't see your dress, head-dress and tiara then it's ok. Anyway tell him has he not seen Don't tell the Bride, the men buy the dress and everything so it can't be that much of bad luck. You get wearing them shoes in so your comfy on the day :)) x

I'm pretty sure it's only the dress (I'm not even a superstitious person but I don't like to take chances!) Have been so excited about everything I've bought I've showed him everything except the dress and the underwear! He's seen my shoes, accessories etc etc! (Being a man doubt he'll even remember what my shoes look like anyway!) x

I always thought it was just bad luck if they see your dress? My h2b will see everything else before the day, just not the dress! xxx

Ok- wanted to know where this came from so just did some research. Found a page that explained wedding superstitions- apparently back in the day when marriages were arranged, they wouldn't want the groom seeing the bride before the day incase he didn't like what he saw and called it off- that got extrapolated to include the bride's clothing etc. Hmmm...
