We had found our venue for our return reception. We were going to have it at The Lounge Bar (pics on profile). Well the manager said they were having some work done and could I keep calling in to find out when it would be done so that I could book and the work would not be being done during the time we wanted. I gave him a call today and he said "We aren't taking bookings for next year!" Then hung up the phone!!! No call back at such n such a date or anything not even bye. I thought cheeky tw@t! I called back and said " I was just speaking to you and you hung up the phone.! He said, "We aint taking bookings for next year." I said "Yeah, I got that but as a potential customer it would have been polite for you to say 'sorry we ain't taking bookings for next year, could you call back at a later date." His response "I am busy you know I run a bar." I said "Well good luck with keeping it after being such a tw@t, you aint getting my money" I then hung up the phone.!
So now we are researching for a new venue! Any ladies across Birmingham that have any good ideas please can you let me know.

Which area are you looking for in Brum? Having mine at Drayton Manor, really reasonable prices and new hotel is open which also has lovely function rooms.

Well we live in Sandwell so not really Birmingham but thats where we were both born and raised. We have tended to live north, east and west Birmingham and don't really know south. Travelling aint too much of a problem within reason. x

We don't want a hotel or anything too fancy, a function room of some kind (clean lol) as it will just be a relaxed reception/party after we get back from Jamaica.
