went to have a look at the place we were going to have wedding reception and its a big fat no no , room is tiny they state it fits over 100 yeah yeah if your standing sholder to shoulder and back to back there is defintely not enough room for a buffet, candy cart and dj plus dance floor then tables the man was lovely and other half said to him we would put deposit down so he got a swift talking to outside i just didnt like it the price of drinks is through the roof too £7.95 for 1 pint a half of coke and a cup of tea . so now im seriously thinking of having it where i had my dads wake which i can get extra discount on but cant get the candy cart up the stairs grrr think im just about ready to give up looking at least for a few weeks as its stressing me out x

Sorry to read that Brilly do no t give up you will find somewhere else that you will fall in love with never give up hope it may set you back a bit but you will find somewhere else that is better for you and for good money fingers crossed for you =D ♥ X

thanks ladies just made a few phone calls and now gained a renovated pavillion with bar, we can take our own buffet and dj and its perfect for a vintage tea party theme and only £25 an hour plus £20 to use there tv projector so im over the moon and it has space for my candy cart so fingers crossed its all sorted xx

Congrats on finding a new venue, but that's rubbish about the old one. Have just had to cancel the venue we had provisionally booked because they failed to tell us we couldn't use the church on that day, so totally feel your disappointment with not being able to have what you expected. Good luck with planning the new place, hope it all works out! Xx

thank you Linzi-jo I cant wait im already making a plan of the space and where everything will go lol the stage i think is where the dj will be setting up so none of his equipment will get damaged but im also going to put a couple of tables outside for the smokers and put candles etc on them too as they face the green so think it will look lovely on the night time and because its september hopefully it will still be warm xx

yep that could totally work Brilly Emerald Gem Diamontes on the candle and need to get ivy to go round the candles loving your ideas Brilly =D ♥ X

Yep so either round or square candles and deffo use emeralds and sapphire gems on the candles with thistle and ivy it sounds perfect Brilly shall deffo be using that idea will deffo do that inspiried to do it myself and hand over to the venue to put on the tables =D ♥ X

never thought of a thank you scroll love that idea I know I've got to be brave and try things myself if it means it will be cost effective trying to get more into craft I will deffo give it a go Brilly =D ♥ X

aww thats lovely hun, i love emerald the colour is amazing especially when its jewellery and sparkles. I need to go through wedding box tomorrow as im sure i put old date we had on our personalized bubbles so may have to change all the labels :s x

they were our old colour scheme anywhay hun so needed changed regardless but will just stick new labels over the top of the old 1s as it took me ages to peel them when removing origion labels lol x
