Hi everyone, one of my bridesmaids who is the mother of my flower girl asked me about needing a baby seat in the wedding car. the flower girl will be two at the time so definitely car seat age. Has anybody had any experience with this? Are they required or is it not needed? Any help would be appreciated TIA x

You need to speak to the company. Our car hire company won't let children under a certain age in the cars for legal reasons (they don't have seat belts). I can't remember the ages, just that it doesn't apply to us as youngest is 28!

My LO was 3 at our wedding and we just sat him on the seat with a seat belt on as it was only 5 minutes up the road.

thank you :) i will check with the company, our church is literally around the corner, like a 2 minute drive if that! so worst case scenario it's not far for somebody to walk around with her x

I emailed my company after this thread last night! Because we are having princess limousines which do not have seatbelts we can not have children under 3 in the back of the car which could make the drive to church a bit of a pain meaning my flower girls parents will have to drive them there for me !!
OOH well I'm glad you saw this and thought to contact them or else you wouldn't have known :s H2B is arranging our cars are a surprise so I've asked him to contact them and find out!
